Playing with values.
I was thinking about death the other day. And I wrote a poem about it. Maybe death is not something bad after all, is my conclusion from the thinking. No, I am not talking any self-harm. Infact I would advise anyone to get help from a professional medical practice if things of that sort are what lead you here. This article is for the others who are serious about philosophy.

Infact foundations of philosophy, religion and for that matter life, is death. Although we label death as something bad, maybe it is not true. If life is a thing, it is the same process which makes us understand the death is a thing too. Life and death can be two ways to look at the same thing, although one is bad over the other maybe it's just valueless like everything else. Now that is difficult to grasp. And just feel like a jumble of words, right? And that is exactly my point! It's just a jumble of words.
At least there is one person who has understood this fact and made it a living. And that is none other than Mark Manson. The famous writer, philosopher the best-selling author of the several publications including, the subtle art of not giving a f***. If you ask him what he thinks about death, I am sure he will say he doesn't not give a f***. And yet I am sure he knows about it better than you and me. That's why he doesn't give it a value. Even a negative one, as he has understood inherent valuelessness of things. That is his secret.
Once you know this as a fact you can start playing with ideas like a magician. And make everyone around you say wow!
You can just start talking about your dirty room and give it a positive value instead a negative one. Just like that! I can explain to you how.
Value of a dirty room.
Well, what I observe now is my room is dirty at the moment. Why? Because I am lazy! And as I can remember I have never worried my room tidy, or dirty. Infact that is something I am working on my entire life (Oh one day I will be there). Now although a dirty room is considered something negative in anywhere on earth, I can turn this into a positive one. I can combine my creative nature with the dirty room. I can say, well my dirty room is a sign that I am a creative person. Look at a painting room of an artist. Does it look so tidy? But his brilliant art comes from a dirty room of chaos and colors. Look at a Garage. Does it look tidy? Maybe not all the time. Things get messy when you start working. And only when we have spare time we can turn back and tidy things up. Mabe not for the Japanese. Do you get my point? And it is just like how Mike Posner's hair and beard evolved over the years.

I can add some more value to the dirty room by giving you a little Zen story. But that is for another day. I do not want to exhaust you with words. As I know you got my point now. It is with this wisdom I played with the death the other day.
Playing with death.
Not just death. What death really is an idea in your head. A mental object. It is just like other mental objects. Created by information we have learnt over the years and upgrades with each iteration of our existence. What "real objective death" is nobody has seen and nobody ever will. So, what we have done to our dirty room we can do the same with death. We can argue death is inherently good instead of bad, in front of a crowd. I can give you several positives about death. Maybe I will just list them out, as you are into listicles.
1. Death allows space for new generation; it is recycling at its best.
2. Because of death life has a value, otherwise it will be eternally boring to see universe after universe being born and die while we are immortal. We might just kill ourselves with boredom anyway.
3. Recently NHS is buzzed with bills of Euthanasia. A dignified assisted death for suffering terminally ill adults. Death is good for some.
4. It helps us to get away from the little man.
Nope this is not to promote death. This is just to show you that, what our mind sees is not what really there is. Even something extreme like death can be played with, if mind chooses to do just that. With this wisdom in mind, I would invite you to play with your mind objects and see where it leads you?
What is the latest project you have been up to? 😉
