My feet are freezing, Heart is still warm.
Autumn approaching, Won't survive the winter storm.
Searching and searching from dusk till dawn
A place to call home, to keep warm.

Like an arctic fox, I do not possess a fluffy coat.
Like a grizzly bear, could not hibernate on a mountain slope.
Like a tree in arctic tundra, I am naked and exposed.
When the first winter waves hit, my eyebrows froze.

I will be buried in the snow soon, with an Icy heart.
Be food to the spring cubs to make a new start.
Call of my frozen voice does not travel far.
I am so far away you can't hear me Ma!
