Do nothing - mindfulness trick.

We are back again to discuss mindfulness . Today I am going to introduce you to another mindfulness trick. Yes ! you guessed it right. Its called " do nothing. "


How often you have struggled to practice mindfulness. Too many instructions. Let's try a simple way. Why don't you stay wherever you are and do nothing?

Except if you are driving or flying an airplane you can try this. Of course, I know you are not, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this now. Stop browsing the internet and do nothing for two minutes.


Stop trying to do anything, do nothing.

Don't try to move, don't try to not to move.

Don't try to think, don't try to stop thoughts.

Don't try to listen, don't try to block sounds.

Get the idea? whatever you want to do, don't do it!

be passive like a feather floating in wind.

See, mindfulness is not so difficult after all.


Next time, when things become overwhelming try the do-nothing trick. Do you want to know why it works? It works because when you try to do something, the peace which is inherently present gets disturbed.
